Victor Marangu, ACIM, ACSI

Victor is an accomplished sales and marketing executive with over 14 years of experience in the investment and insurance industry in Kenya. Joining SIB in January 2020 to lead the distribution department, he brings a wealth of expertise to the role.

His skill set encompasses training and development, sales and marketing management, sales enablement, personal financial planning, instructional design, and learning management systems. Victor’s passion for understanding client requirements and identifying market trends drives him to suggest system improvements to achieve the company’s sales outcomes.

With a keen eye for detail and a strategic approach, Victor excels in developing revenue growth strategies that align with organizational objectives. Under his leadership, the AUM of Mansa-X Fund has grown from KES 240 mn to over KES 30 bn and his team from 10 salespeople to a hundred strong.

At SIB, his leadership and innovative thinking contribute to driving business success. His proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to inspire ensures that SIB’s distribution team is continuously productive and able to create value for clients.
