FA Nahashon Mungai

Nahashon serves as Executive Director, Global Markets at Standard Investment Bank (SIB), where he provides visionary leadership of the Mansa-X Special Funds and oversees the firm’s global markets strategy. A recipient of the Top 40 Under 40 award by Business Daily in 2021, he is the architect behind Mansa-X, having scaled it from inception into one of Kenya’s leading collective investment schemes, now managing over USD 1.2 billion. He also serves as Portfolio Manager of the Standard Investment Trust Funds, where he directs investment strategy and performance across diversified portfolios.

With nearly two decades of experience, Nahashon is recognized as a thought leader in Kenya’s alternative investments space, bringing deep expertise across global markets and alternative investments, with a focus on hedge funds. He has developed and executed sophisticated investment strategies, with a strong emphasis on risk management, market dynamics, and structured solutions. His career spans senior roles across leading Kenyan banks, where he built a strong track record in high-performance, fast-paced investment environments.

Since joining SIB in 2018, he has built a high-performing, innovation-driven global markets division recognized for excellence in execution, strategy, and product development.

Nahashon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from JKUAT and is professionally certified with CISI (UK), ACCA, ACI, and ICIFA, underscoring a strong foundation in financial markets, accounting, and investment management.
