FA Nahashon Mungai

Nahashon is a consummate investment professional, bringing extensive experience to his role at SIB. He joined the company in 2018, taking the helm of the newly formed global markets division. Here, he spearheaded the formation of Mansa-X Fund, Kenya’s first regulated Online Trading Money Manager.

Prior to joining SIB, he held key positions at prominent financial institutions, including Bank of Africa (BoA), Equity Bank Limited, I&M Bank, and Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB). His diverse background includes roles such as Head of Treasury, Forex Interbank Dealer, Corporate Dealer, and Spot and Swaps Dealer. This equipped him with a deep understanding of various aspects of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management practices.

Nahashon’s leadership and expertise extend beyond his professional roles. He is an elected member of the market development committee in the ACI Financial Markets Association, Kenya. In this capacity, he helps to shape market practices and foster collaboration within the financial community.
