Laban Githuki

Laban is a seasoned professional in the finance industry, with a career spanning over 15 years in investment banking, fixed income, and financial advisory. His contributions have helped to shape the trading landscape in Kenya, overseeing transactions worth billions in government securities over the last decade.

Laban’s journey began in the sales and marketing division of Barclays Bank. He later joined Faida Investment Bank as a management trainee, further enriching his understanding of financial management.

Today, at SIB, Laban is responsible for driving growth, managing risk, and ensuring the success of our fixed income division. He uses his vast experience to steer his team through dynamic market environments with confidence and precision. His knack for identifying lucrative opportunities make him an asset to the SIB team.
