Abdullahi Adan

Abdullahi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in Islamic commerce to his role as the head of SIB Najah, SIB’s Islamic investment banking division. Joining SIB in 2023, he has quickly become an integral part of the team, leveraging his expertise to drive innovation and growth in Islamic finance.

Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Sombank LTD in Somalia, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and vision. Before that, he held key positions such as Head of Consumer Banking at Gulf African Bank LTD and Head of Islamic Banking at Chase Bank Kenya, where he rose through the ranks due to his outstanding performance.

Abdullahi’s career also includes various roles at First Community Bank LTD and ABC Bank LTD, where he gained invaluable experience in Islamic finance and banking operations. His deep understanding of Shariah-compliant principles and his track record of success make him a trusted advisor and leader in the field of Islamic finance.
