Role Summary
We are seeking to recruit highly motivated, analytical, and results-driven Fixed Income Traders to join our growing team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for executing fixed income trades, monitoring market developments, managing client relationships, and supporting the achievement of the firm’s trading and investment objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute buy and sell orders for fixed income securities with precision.
- Oversee trade settlement processes alongside middle and back-office operations teams.
- Monitor real-time market data& interest rate movements.
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators like inflation data and central bank policy decisions.
- Provide competitive price quotes directly to institutional and retail clients.
- Deliver timely market commentary and actionable investment ideas to accounts.
- Build strong network connections with institutional counterparties and broker-dealers.
- Partner with internal sales teams to win new trading mandates
- Enforce strict compliance policies that match CMA regulation.
- Formulate data-driven trading strategies using technical and fundamental analysis.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in financial markets and trading will be an added advantage.
- Membership in the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA) and/or possession of the Authorized Securities Trader (ATS) Certification will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated knowledge of fixed income products, market dynamics, and trading platforms is desirable.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent understanding of financial markets and fixed income instruments.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making ability.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
