Our leadership within the region is demonstrated by having been involved in over 70% of corporate advisory mandates since 2005 in Kenya \u2013 the powerhouse economy of the region.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Role Summary<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are seeking to recruit highly motivated, analytical, and results-driven <strong>Fixed Income Traders<\/strong> to join our growing team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The successful candidates will be responsible for executing fixed income trades, monitoring market developments, managing client relationships, and supporting the achievement of the firm&#8217;s trading and investment objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Execute buy and sell orders for fixed income securities with precision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee trade settlement processes alongside middle and back-office operations teams.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor real-time market data&amp; interest rate movements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze macroeconomic indicators like inflation data and central bank policy decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide competitive price quotes directly to institutional and retail clients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliver timely market commentary and actionable investment ideas to accounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build strong network connections with institutional counterparties and broker-dealers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner with internal sales teams to win new trading mandates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enforce strict compliance policies that match CMA regulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Formulate data-driven trading strategies using technical and fundamental analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevant experience in financial markets and trading will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Membership in the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA) and\/or possession of the Authorized Securities Trader (ATS) Certification will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of fixed income products, market dynamics, and trading platforms is desirable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical and quantitative skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent understanding of financial markets and fixed income instruments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making ability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High levels of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ability to execute trades efficiently and accurately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A proactive attitude, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong risk management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are passionate about financial markets and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to submit your application.
